The BoltHold SP12 is a heavy duty asphalt anchor rated at 2,000 lbs. pull. The 12" long anchor is designed to mount plates, fences, machinery directly to asphalt surfaces. For technical information, datasheets and installation manuals, please visit our library.

SP12-38K incorporates a 3/8"-16 UNC female thread. The thread of the bolt inside the anchor should not exceed 5". The anchor requires a 7/8" hole 12" deep and the use of a grout such as our EPX2 or EPX3. A 1.4" welded washer at the top of the anchor prevents the anchor from dropping below the surface. The SP12 anchors are mounted flush with the surface of the roadway, so that attached devices can be removed without leaving dangerous screws or protrusions on the walkway.

The SP12-38K is a set of 6 anchors, each pre-installed with a 1" bolt and a 1" washer.

Fantastic Quality

I used these anchors to support my carport. I used a 1 inch drill to go through the asphalt. Poured in the cement that goes with these anchors in the hole then wrapped the metal wiring that came with the carport and wrapped it around the legs of the carport then these anchors. Tapped the anchors further into the asphalt and covered them with left over cement. This carport is not going anywhere! Manufacturer comments: While this method is very effective, we usually recommend using an eyebolt to attach cables to the anchors. That allows removal of the carport if it gets damaged or for seasonal reasons.

SP12

I bought these Anchors to hold down my recently purchased 12’ x 20’ x 8’ fabric garage to my asphalt driveway. Boy did I get the ultimate test. Hurricane Damien landed with sustained winds for 12 hours at 90 mph. How did the anchors hold? There was no problem at all, no movement whatsoever! This is a great product !
