The Medium Carport Bundle includes everything you need to securely anchor a mid-size carport to an asphalt surface using our heavy-duty SP18 anchors. This kit is ideal for carports with up to 9 legs and is designed for permanent or semi-permanent installation.
Each bundle contains:
18× SP18 zinc-plated anchors – Our strongest anchor, rated at 2,500 lbs. pull force. Each is 12” long and features a 7/16-14 UNC thread. Details at the SP18 product page.
8× EPX3 adhesive cartridges – A two-part anchoring grout with higher capacity than EPX2, suitable for extended installations. See the EPX3 product page.
1× CG40 caulk gun – Heavy-duty gun compatible with our EPX2/EPX3 cartridges. See the CG40 product page.
1× 16” SDS Plus masonry drill bit – Sized for SP18 anchors, 1” diameter and long enough for full-depth 12” holes.
1× Nylon cleaning brush – Used to clean debris from holes before grout insertion, ensuring proper bond.
SP18 anchors require a 1” hole, 12” deep, filled with EPX3 grout. Anchors mount flush with the asphalt surface and can be unbolted without leaving protrusions. A 1.4” washer at the top prevents pull-through and keeps the anchor seated during use.
